Giordano Bruno exhibition in the Biblioteca Casanatense, Rome: ‘Io dirò la verità’. Giordano Bruno 1548-1600

The Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica has provided loans for an exhibition commemorating the 400th anniversary of the death of Giordano Bruno. Amongst these loans is an English translation of De l’infinito, universo e mondi, produced in 1650. The English translation, Of the infinite universe and innumerable worlds, was never printed.

The exhibition runs from 7 June until 30 September 2000 in the Biblioteca Casanatense, Rome. Visiting address: Via San Ignazio 52. Visiting hours: Tuesdays-Saturdays 10:00-13:00/15:00-18:00; Sundays and Mondays 10:00-13:00.



Planned for 2001 is an exhibition in the Biblioteca Marciana in Venice under the title 'Ermete Trismegisto: da Bessarione all'aurea e rosa croce' a sequel to the 'Marsilio Ficino e il ritorno di Ermete Trismegisto' exhibition in the Biblioteca Laurenziana in Florence.
