The Library of Hermetic Philosophy in Amsterdam


This library was founded in 1957 by Mr Joseph R. Ritman with the purpose of collecting works in the Hermetic-Christian tradition. Apart from collecting books and manuscripts, the library carries out research and collects documentation relevant to this tradition, organizes exhibitions and scholarly conferences and issues publications in its field.

Notice:
Due to building activities the library (visiting address Bloemstraat 15) will be closed to the public from 16 October 2000 until 15 January 2001, after which the library will reopen on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00-12:30 and 13:30-17:00 hours. During the temporary closure of the library to the public, queries may of course still be directed to the library staff either in writing, by telephone or by e-mail.
