Dear Rosicrucians of all
Organizations:
This site is on the Net to provide Q&A
about the 1990 affair between AMORC, Inc. and Imperator
Gary L. Stewart.
This site springs forth, due to the tremendous
volume of mail to the RC-FS-FORUM, circling the events of the 1990
lawsuit with which many Rosicrucians are familiar.
This site will contain an objective overview of those events, including
all pertinent
PUBLIC RECORD documents,
as well as relevant
correspondence on record in negotiating the final settlement
agreement--and an interview with Imperator
Gary L. Stewart to hear what he has to say. With the
documents and information to be presented here, once and for ALL--all
the answers to the most important questions surrounding that dark 1990
event will be given, and there will be no further confusion as to what
truly occurred and why.
We have also included two current 1999 communications
sent by AMORC, to a new member and another 3rd party when inquiring of
the events of 1990: #1: Click

Over the years Rosicrucians have not had
the benefit of any upfront answers to questions that have
clouded this issue. Here, on one site, you will find factual
information for yourself, and draw your own conclusions.
Included here will be information that has been very hard to find, and
was always guarded by certain officials
of
AMORC.
When asked for an explanation, vague mis-information or complete silence
was given instead of the hard core truth backed by hands-on
documentation that was available. Even AMORC's own "members"
have been kept in the dark, and silence was the accepted venue.
Note:
Even today, eight years after the 1990 lawsuit, AMORC still advises potential
members and the public that they are a "thriving non-profit, educational,
cultural, and fraternal organization." They also mention
"the Order is a fraternity and like fraternities, there are membership
dues." As you will learn, AMORC is NOT a fraternity according
to IRS rulings and their Restated Articles of Incorporation of April 23,
1990, and the only membership in AMORC is their own Board of Directors.
This was all established prior to the final dismissal of charges, with
prejudice against AMORC, when the civil (not criminal) suit was settled
in 1993.
In 1990, Imperator Gary Stewart's hands were literally
tied insofar as what members were or were not advised concering the suit,
due to the limitations set forth at the time of the lawsuit, and due to
the reluctance of AMORC, the "opposing party,"
to release any information. Primarily, the lack of a public platform,
which he is entitled to, was denied, and the majority of Rosicrucians
never knew of the final resolution, where Imperator Stewart was fully exoneratedby
Court Order and a DISMISSAL of all charges was filed on
August
10, 1993. In other words, and simply put, the Plaintiff,
The Supreme Grand Lodge, AMORC, Inc. failed to prove their case,
and finally had the Superior Court of California, County of Santa
Clara,
dismiss the charges with "prejudice" against AMORC.

This is an introducion of what will be set into
print here, including images the relevant, actual public documents—from
the
original charges to, to changes in
April, 1990 to the SGL Articles of Inc., to the final
dismissal. All documents and statements have been obtained
and released by Imperator Gary Stewart and other members of OMCE—CR+C (Confraternity
of the Rose Cross) and permission granted to use said documents to set
the record straight. Only facts and documentation will be presented,
and without editorial comment.
